I Hope you're having a wonderful week, and had a wonderful week last week. This week has felt like it has flown by. I feels like I just sent you a email just the other day, but no a full week has pasted since then.  I guess time flies when you're out doing the lords work.

Some key events that happened this week. It mainly focuses around the weekend has that was packed full of stuff throughout. First on Friday we did some service for a family that was moving out and heading back to New Zealand. We helped him prepare to load all his stuff onto a crate to ship it over to New Zealand. So we helped him Prepare some bikes to be loaded up. It was quite interesting. After that we went to help another member continue to build their house and move items from one room to another.

Then as we were heading home some members saw us biking back to our flat, with our service clothes, and later bought us some kfc for us to eat. They bought us a whole family feast. It was a lot. I may be able to show you all. Then we went to some of our progressing investigators and taught them Wow (Word of Wisdom) and soon after then decided to give us 40 eggs from a farm. So we have plenty of food now.

Then the next day We did a whole service with a lot of the ward present, mostly the youth. We were moving Limestone blocks as I remember and creating a wall with them. Before we could move them we had to clean off the concrete that was on them so they would fit in place. We spent most of the morning doing that.

Then on sunday, after a great time a church, we went to a Tongan dinner events were a large number of Tongan members came together. It was an awesome night and my companion tried to set up two ysa together while there. One of which we had just met that night, but he was awesome. It was over all an amazing night full of greatness and great Tongan food. They even had a pig on a stick there.

It was just an awesome week full of stuff we did, and full of blessings.

Hope you all have a wonderful week coming and enjoy every moment of it.

Love,
Elder Boren

Week of Adventure (week 12)

Greetings from far away lands.

I speak to you now from a land across the world from the place of which I was raised to be the person I am today. Oh the days of the past. Looking back always makes things look so far away, but let us begin with this story to be told.

This week as been adventure through and through, in some rather interesting ways. Soon after emailing everyone we began to walk around, mainly from place to place. While doing so we talked and played the three choice game that Elder Daniels knew about, which made the day awesome, even with all the walking. We then had someone come to us while we were at a McDonalds and told us that he was a inactive member and wants to return to church. That was pretty awesome, and from that we gain two new investigators as his children will be preparing for baptism as he returns to church.

Afterwards we continued on with the week. Tuesday was a great day as we went through all our meetings as a district and Zlc. all of which went pretty smoothly. Then on Wednesday we had an interesting night, where the majority of the photos came from. The youth were doing visits with some of the members in the ward, and had the missionaries join them as they went to the members, though they didn't really need the amount of missionaries that showed up. Only one of the elders went in at a time and joined the group that they were in. The rest stayed and waited, and due to some lack of planning there was nothing to be done during the time. So my companion and Elder Aldous (One of our Zone leaders) had a bit of a throw down in the back seats. It was quite entertaining as the two went back and forth. even though there was no true fighting between the pair, Elder Daniels was going through some uncomfortable parts. In the end it turned out to be a great night and the youth did a great job during the visits as they lead the whole thing. It was a good experience and will help them prepare for what's to come in their life.

The rest of the week went by just as smoothly, and nothing else that major really happened, that was the only crowning moment. Though as each week goes by it gets sadder and sadder as soon Elder Daniels will be heading back home at the end of this transfer. We're not ready to see him go just yet, and hes not as excited to go either. We sometimes get a bit bummed out when we look at how close his departure is, but the work must go on and so we continue to move forward in all that we do.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful time wherever you are in the world.

I'll see you all next week

Love,
Elder Boren

Hope you're having a wonderful week. (week 11)

Hello Everyone

I hope you're all having a wonderful week wherever you are. I myself have had a great week here in the land down under. Not that many things happen that i can remember. Most of the stuff happened during the weekend. Mainly it was a week of conferences. On Friday it was our Zone conference as the photo shows our Zone in its fullness with president and Sister Fife included. It was a great time with a lot of teachings great lessons and so forth. It was also sad because my companion, Elder Daniels, gave his farewell testimony as he'll be leaving the end of this transfer. Which is pretty sad for us in the district. Then we were able to watch general conference at the chapel the next two days. We basically spent the whole weekend at the chapel listening to talks and so on.

The rest of the week went fairly well. Monday night we had a cottage evening which was great. Then on Wednesday i made some cookies for a youth activity the missionaries were involved in. We were doing a mini MTC at the chapel and the 3 sets of missionaries each taught a class. One being Tracking, another The restoration and the Last Using the Book of Mormon. We Taught the book of Mormon one. It was a lot of fun. Then not much happened until Friday then we had no time any more.

It was a great week and i'm excited for the week to come. Hope you all have a wonderful week :)

Love,
Elder Boren

the land down under (week 10)

Hello Dearest family and friends.

I hope you are having a wonderful time across the world. I myself am having a complete blast of things around here. It's been a great week it has with a lot of excitement all around as well as a bit of learning here and there. I don't know why but I'm having a hard time trying to bring together what happened during this week. It's the week I took the least amount of photos to provide for you, though I still have plenty to send to you. So do not worry in the slightest. The photos of me in this land and with the other elders are coming soon following this letter to you.

To start off since the last time we spoke, on Tuesday, a lot has happened well during that day at least.  My companion and I joined with the zone leaders who are in our district, with a car. Went to the chapel and played some games. We also spent a good amount of time trying to fly some kites in a nearby park, with the strong winds we were having. I'll be stealing some photos of that off the other elders. Afterwards we played some nerf in the church, having a ball shooting each other it was a lot of fun. We also got a new member to our district. We lost a sister in a trio but gained a new trio. The zone leaders will now be training a golden that has just came in from uath which will be a lot of fun. He's a good guy and excited to work with him more in exchanges and such.

We had a baptism for a ysa investigator the other day and it was great. So was so prepared and ready for this. It was great seeing her join the church, and am excited to bring my investigators to that stage. The closet ones we have is a couple from the cook islands that are progressing wonderfully and should be ready to be baptism here in December, it'll be awesome to see that happen. Then we have a cook island family home evening going on tonight which they'll be going to, so well be going to it. They'll be stuffing me tonight that is for sure.

I'm excited to hear from you all here soon, and am grateful for all the messages that I have already received. Love hearing from you all
