(muggles not included).

Greetings everyone. My time here in Geraldton has finish and came to an end. I have finished my work here, and now I am being called to another area. I will be heading down to Maylands, which is right by the city. I will be in the same ward as the Assistants to the president, who were the zone leaders back in Warnbro, and went to the same ward as us. It's almost like I am going back to the beginning. My companion will be elder Hanson, who was from my intake. It'll be good to see him again and I already know we'll get along well.

Serving here in Geraldton was a great experience and allowed me to grow even more into the missionary I am now, and the man I'm working to be. The elders I have served with have helped and supported me throughout the entire experience, and I will not forget them shortly. It is hard to leave this area as it was to leave my first, but change most be expected and I've already been through a lot of change, considering that I've had 5 companions in 6 transfer. Now it'll be 6 companions in 7 transfers, in 3 areas.

I'm excited for the change coming but I'm not ready for it to happen. I have come to love this area and the people in it, it's hard to say goodbye, but friends never say goodbye.

I hope you all have a wonderful week, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Love,
Elder Boren

week 36

The picture spam has completed. Those were all pictures taken in Kalbarri as you can guess. We spent a full day there for our p-day up there. It's about a two hour drive to get all the way up there, but still in our area. Heck our area is about 6 hours up, and 2 hours down, with about 2-3 hours east. I could fit all of Florida in my area right now. (Take that Florida elders!) But sadly no car :(.

Anyways this last week was a great week looking back upon it all. We were able to do quite a lot including head to Kalbarri which was pretty awesome. We also had a great time watching general conference the weekend before. It was awesome to hear all of the announcements, and all the amazing talks. I'm excited for how the church will run following it all.

This week was a pretty good week, not too much happened that I can remember at this time but since the week went so fast I can calmly say that it was a good week. I can say the same thing about the mission so far. It seems like it's gone by so fast already. Sometimes I wish it would slow down, I'm in no rush.

This last Sunday our investigator that we've been working with for sometime was confirmed into the church just the other day, and along with that Another that received the Aaronic priesthood. He'll be going to the temple with his father, both for the first time, to do baptisms for their family members that have passed away. It's been awesome seeing the growth that both of them have taken since joining the church and the steps they are taking to go on.

This week that we're going into will begin the end of this transfer, as it is the last week of the transfer. I don't know if i'm leaving yet, that'll come in time.

Hope you'll all have a wonderful week.

Love,
Elder Boren

River of Blood (week 35)

Hello everyone. I hope you all are having a wonderful day today and have had a wonderful week last week. I'm only able to send a short email due to time and circumstances. Right now we're heading to kalbarri which is about 2 hours out of geraldton. We're going to spend the day there. I'll take as many pictures as I can while there. This last week has been a great week and we had a wonderful time listening to the talks from conference. We really enjoyed the Sunday afternoon session. All the changes were quite exciting to see. It's wonderful to see that lord hastening his work in the world. Just went and visited a pink lake which the water is pink, due to the salt consintration. It was pretty pink, and some of my pictures make it look like a river of blood. Felt like moses. I did grab a rock for dad, hopefully he likes it. This week was a good week as well. We were able to visit a lady a little ways up from us, who owns a caravan park right by the beach. They fed us quite well, and I had some sweet potato that tasted like apple cider, it was great. The weather is starting to cool down enough to feel good outside, though my companion can't stop sweating. Gerald ton as been good to me,  and it seems like it'll be getting better as winter begins to come in. Can't wait for some good rain.

Love you all, and spread this email out to other, was only able to send it to so few. Hope to hear from you soon.

zone conference and a baptism (week 34)

Hello everyone. Hope you are all having a wonderful week this week, and had a wonderful week last week. It was a pretty good week over here in Geraldton. The main Highlight of the week was Geoffrey's baptism, that took place just last Saturday. It was a wonderful moment to see him enter the waters of baptism and have such a desire to take the steps forward towards a better life. He is already sharing to his friends about the gospel and inviting them to church and his baptism.

We also had a hype week for our zone, which had different challenges throughout the week, for each day. It was pretty exciting to try to accomplish different things while going about our work. The focus of this hype week was Tracking, so each day we did something different while we we're tracking. To make the experiences of tracking more memorable, and easier to notice the miracles while out and about.

This next week will be another great one, as we'll be watching general conference this week. Hope you all have a wonderful week, and hope to see you soon.

Love,
Elder Boren
