Greetings in full. I'm glad for the chance to be able to talk to you all even if its through this email system, but we shall make do, shall we? Of course, of course we shall. That was weird, but anyways. Been in Geraldton for about a week and a half taking out time spent with the zone leaders and for the time traveling back and forth. But the time here has been pretty good here. It's a much larger area then my last one. Some parts of it have yet to be explored by me and my companion, but no area shall go untouched by our labours.
Just this past week a lot has happened with two holidays its pretty much expected to happen, but it's always cool for it to happen. So last Monday was Christmas, hooray! and it was awesome having the chance to be able to chat with the fam, through video chat, Though it was Christmas eve back home, but all goods. I loved the gifts that were sent. The ones I loved the most were probably the food/candy and the music I got. Hard to get music has a missionary, and there is no good candy here in America. I miss my skittles, sour patch, and jolly ranchers :'(, but the work must carry on. We also got to have two Christmas meals, one with a part member family and the other with the couple missionaries in our area. Both of which were pretty great meals and really brought the Christmas spirit together.
Then before New Years We were able to go to a wedding which was pretty exciting overall. It was awesome. It was the wedding of Lot and ester, who enjoy having the missionaries over whenever we come around, and its also a plus that they own a fish & chips shops. Pretty good chips (French fries for those who don't know). The wedding was awesome and it was wonderful to see Lot so happy. As a gesture of our love we helped prepare for the wedding. And my Companion elder Mauigoa Even gave the white shirt the groom wore due to the fact that his suit didn't come with one, and gave the best man a haircut, who was also pretty awesome. It was also cool because ester has family that come from Texas which was pretty neat. Never found out where in Texas though.
Well that's about all that transpired while here in Geraldton. Hope you all have a wonderful time this first week of the year. Enjoy yourselves.
Love,
Elder Boren
