hope you had a wonderful start to your new year. (week 23)

Hello everyone, hope you've all been having a wonderful first week of this new year. I for one had a pretty normal week, not too much happened during the week. So it was a pretty casual week in service of the lord.

Since the last time we spoke to each other, not too much has happened at all really, just a real basic week, though my memory doesn't aid in adding to what happened. With me serving in a branch there isn't too many members nearby or ones with callings. Even though this is the case we met with the branches Mission leader to talk about some of the investigators we've been working with, and how the few members we have can be involved with helping them and us. The main one we're quite excited for is one named Adrian. He is a son living with his father, who was baptized just last year. Now he is working to be baptized as well on the 20th of this month.

Then On Thursday Elder Mauigoa's Knee was acting up, and was so painfully that he couldn't really walk with it. So we spent most of the day at home as he couldn't really go about doing the work. The next day we went to a clinic and had his knee looked at, but it was already improving. No damage to the knee just strained from all the walking and from pushing himself. As far as we know he should be fine as long as he doesn't push it too hard these last few weeks he's still a missionary.

The rest of the week just went on by without anything going on which doesn't require your attention for any reason. Hopefully this next week will be more exciting to you all. One thing that I did pick up this week is that music can be a lesson on its own. When you really listen into what the song is saying rather then the beat or feel of it, it can give you a lesson all on its own. Though don't look for it in all song, as a lot don't have a reason besides being nice to listen to.

Hope you have a wonderful day the rest of the day today, and through out the week.

Love,
Elder Boren
