showing my companion around (week 32)

Greetings everyone, I hope you've all had a wonderful week, anticipating for this weekly email, that happens ever week for you. Let me know how it went, and what you thought was exciting. For now I shall tell you the experiences of this last week as well as some other thoughts that I had during the week. Comments and feedback are generally accepted.

This week was the first full week with elder Wilsher. It was a good week and we got to know each other even more as we began to work with each other and talk one to another. We have a lot of things in common, but many other things we do not. He is older then me by 3 years, but we have the same child like personality within us. Old bodies but young hearts. Well not that old, but getting there.

We've had an interesting week this last week. Elder Wilsher quickly popped his front tire, and we didn't have a replacement handy. so we had to go into town to find a bike shop, which took us longer then expected. We found it soon enough, though it did take us sometime. He learned his lesson. One does not simply ride on Geraldton grass. There are plenty of things that lurk to end a tire within that unforgiving grass.

Besides that we had a good week. I continued to show him around to all the members less actives, and investigators that we are working with and have received. They have accepted Elder Wilsher quite willingly and happily. He's easy to love anyways. There are still more people to visit but comes in time. This week we'll be heading down to Perth for zone conference and staying with the zone leaders while down there, or at least that's what the plan is so far.

Hope you all have a wonderful week to come and hope you enjoy what comes to you though out it all. Whatever happens or whatever is going on in life, remember it is your attitude towards it that causes it to change. As your attitude changes so does your outlook, then everything changes to something new, or so it seems. Nothing truly changes but because of your change in attitude you begin to notice different things that you wouldn't have before hand. Just try to keep the right attitude towards whatever is thrown your way, and you will succeed.

Love,
Elder Boren

During some of my off time I started making maps, just for kicks. My Trainer/Father taught me how to make a map, and add details to it. These are two that I've worked one and finished. One was a test on trade routes. They take up time, and are fun to do. Always have a four coloured pen spare.

1.Steak dinner (Celebrating Elder Wilsher's 12 weeks on mission)
2-3. Bubbles
4. Candle + water
5. = Candle lit Bath
