Visiting with good people. (week 30)

Hello Everyone. I hope you've all have had a wonderful week where ever you are around the world. Though most of you are in the United States. But greetings from Australia to you all. Here in the land down under it is summer. With normal days of upper 30's in Celsius, and yet summer hasn't full developed as of yet. Most people say that it's been a cool summer so far, and i'm not complaining here. (It's not all that bad, be worse if it had high humidity like home). Plus it helps to have a cool wind come in to keep it nice as we go about. Only a few 40's here so far. If our luck holds we wont see to many more.

This week has been a good week here in the work. We've been able to visit with a number of good people. A lot of them Elder Nai has been saying goodbye to as this was his last week on the mission. I have a long way to go before I make to that. Seems like ages, but then again, right around the corner. He is number three that I have sent home now. My next companion will not be heading home anytime soon. I've been on my mission longer then he has. i'm known as his follow up trainer. He has just finished up training himself, and is now heading out to the field. Into my town. As far as I know he is an American, and his name is Elder Wilsher. I met him once at a zone conference and did a roleplay with him. Hope he remembers me :).

Last night I made a roast dinner in a slow cooker, and it turned out really well. Though I cooked it the wrong way. I cooked it on high for 3 hours rather then low. In the end we got a great fast sunday roast dinner. I'm going to start doing it every fast sunday. ( Would show you but computer wont accept sd card. Next time)

Hope you all have a wonderful week and hopefully hear from you here soon.

Love,
Elder Boren

Mom: I had asked him what gets him up everyday
Jacob: The people. It's all about the people> loving them serving them, working with them, struggling with them. The people here are good people, and they are amazing to be able to work with and for.
