week 55

Hello everyone hope you've all had a wonderful week this week. Everything has been pretty good down here last week began this transfer and on Wednesday the transfer were finalized and now everyone is in there respective areas. Two of the areas in our district were cleaned out and the new elders gave just arrived. Now they're getting used to there new areas. From my point of view we have a really nice district. I for one really enjoy all the members in it. We also have a pretty diverse with one from Portugal, and one from the Ukraine. Then three Aussies, one kiwi, and one American. It's a lot of fun. 

This week was also a cool week to all the stuff that came my way. On Monday I was able to pick up a Scottish note book with a similar tartan to the one I have. So it kind of kicked off some searching for my ancestors. Looking deep to my Scottish line. It was really cool to see all the clans that I have an ancestor to. Then on Saturday while working at the salvos we came across a kilt. The staff there put it on hold for me so I could figure out what it was from and what clan it belongs to. So with the help of one of the members we were able to figure out that it's the Cameron of Erracht Regimental Tartan and I was able to figure out that I have one ancestor from that clan. It was pretty awesome to figure out. Then today I went to go see how much it would cost to pick it up, as Kilts can go for 100s of dollars. But when I came to pick it up it only was 16 dollars to take it. The manger then even told me that if she was personally gonna sell it would've gone for 150. It was awesome and now I have a kilt of my own. 

All in all it was a pretty good week here in maylands. Hope you all a good one as well.
