This week has been a good week, one to look back upon, but you can only say that once its finished and it applies to every week, I guess. Never-the-less, it was a good week.
P-days don't really amount to all that much, only because of when the library opens, which is 1pm our time, or 1am back home (hooray!). So a lot of traveling around and doing some expoloring of the area around Geraldton. Today we went and visited the Sydney memorial Which overlooks most of Geraldton. Well the part that sits beside the sea at least.
Then we did a whole bunch of moving about in our area visiting people we have yet to visit and tracking out some area. All in all a lot of working this week as with every week. We were able to do a service for an investigator of ours, well two services this week. both times we did some gardening, pulling out plants and grass. This upon and coming week we'll be doing some more gardening and then moving out an investigator.
This up and coming week is also my companions last week as a missionary. On Saturday he is heading to perth then on Tuesday he's going back home. Another one bites the dust. A check off the list. A lot of the members have asked to have us over to see him off, as well as some investigators as well. Hopefully we have enough time for it all.
Throughout this week I've really felt the impact of hills while on a bike. Hills aren't to bad, what kills you here, is the wind beating you down as you climb up (riley get training). Anyways one thing that I've really come to enjoy is music. A lot of time while we're at the flat I just sit there listening to the music we have (Just my music as it is). Its quite surprising how impactful music can be on you and if you listen close enough you can feel and hear the power of it. Two of my favourites to listen to are two musicals, called 'The Garden' and 'The Lamb'. These two both capture moments of Christ's life and what he did for us. Favourite songs from them 'Not my will' from the garden, and 'Lord, is it i' from The lamb. Another good song is 'You know better then i' from Jospeh: Prince of dreams. Really good songs that impact you as you carefully listen to them.
Hope you all have a wonderful day today and rest of this week to be.
Love
Elder Boren
